January kept us on our toes! We were excited to catch an early glimpse of the upcoming 2026 RAV4, and let’s just say, it gave us something to look forward to while we powered through some seriously cold winter days. Big thanks to everyone who braved the cold with us and helped make January a great start to the year.

ABOUT
I was born in Des Moines and grew up in Ames, attending Crawford Elementary, Ames Middle School, and Ames High School before heading to Baylor University. I married my college sweetheart, Shana (yes, she’s a Texas girl), and we have two amazing daughters, a cool son-in-law, and the sweetest grandson, Little Thomas. My first job at a car dealership was back in the ’80s, where I was assigned to “weed patrol” on the lot while I was still in middle school.
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?
I originally went to college to be a high school guidance counselor!
WHO IS SOMEONE YOU LOOK UP TO?
My Dad! He was my best man at my wedding, my business partner, and is now the grandfather to my kids.
WHAT IS A HABIT THAT’S MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE?
Exercise, without a doubt. I run, ski, swim (triathlons), and bike.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO SPEND A DAY OFF?
Any day I’m not working or traveling for work is a good day to be with my family.
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?
My morning coffee — especially when it comes from my favorite possession in the world, my Breville!
